The Chef Who Wanted to Give Back.....And Did - Chef Johnon

Chef Johnon is one of Australia’s top chefs! His desire is to give back to the Hospitality Industry through sharing his culinary skills and food knowledge. Johnon is an Executive Chef of three Canberra restaurants, Sage, Akiba and Kokomo’s. He started as a Head Chef at each venue and now he over looks all three, with approximately 50 Chefs and 3 Head Chefs. All three of Chef Johnon’s restaurants were voted by TripAdvisor in their Top 10 Canberra Restaurants of 2019.

The masterclass menu consisted of four dishes:

1. Yellow Curry Beef Bun

2. Salmon Sashimi

3. Kimchi Pancakes

4. Buffalo Chicken Dumplings

We are very grateful for the time that Chef Johnon spent with our students to showcase and teach his skills. We look forward building on our relationship with Chef Johnon and hopefully he returns for another masterclass!
