CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)
This qualification prepares you for a rewarding career providing person-centred support to people in community, home and residential care settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team under supervision, you’ll develop the skills to support individuals who require assistance due to ageing, disability or other support needs.
Throughout the course, you’ll gain the practical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to deliver high-quality care while working in accordance with relevant legislation, Australian standards and industry best practice.
To achieve this qualification, you must complete a minimum of 120 hours of mandatory work placement.

Packaging Rules
15 units must be completed:
- 9 core units
- 6 elective units, consisting of:
- At least 3 units from those listed under Group A or B
- The remaining units from any of the Groups A, B or C listed under CHC33021 on training.gov.au
All Group A and Group B electives have been packaged for this course to award the specialisation Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability).
